UIDAI, the Unique Identification Authority of India, has issued a crucial update regarding the ECMP (Enrolment Client Multiplatform) client. With the aim of enhancing security and efficiency, UIDAI has revoked older versions and promoted ECMP version 182-3 to stable, effective from February 2, 2024. Key Points 1. Stable Release of ECMP 182-3:    - As of January 23, 2024, ECMP version 182-3 has been promoted to stable, ensuring reliability and performance. 2. Revocation of Older Versions:    - On February 2, 2024, UIDAI took the necessary step of revoking older versions of the ECMP client in production. 3. Allowed Versions Going Forward:    - From now on, only versions 3.3.4.2/182-1 (full installer available in the upload portal), 3.3.4.2/182-2, and 182-3 will be supported.
