The IR&GB Division's communication, reference number CF-29/1/2022-CF-DOP dated May 24, 2023, concerning the upcoming changes to international tariffs effective from June 1, 2023.

In alignment with this, we have released an updated version of the Meghdoot-POS for Franchise Outlets, version 7.9.13. This version is now available for download via the SFTP site, and the necessary access credentials for field users are enclosed with this communication.

Key Updates:
  • Updated foreign EMS rates for documents and merchandise.
  • Revised rates for foreign air parcels.

This release follows the Point Of Sale software update for franchised outlets version 7.9.12 and incorporates the latest directives from the Directorate regarding international air tariffs as mentioned in the above-cited directorate letter.

UIDAI ECMP Client Version Revocation, Version 182-3 Promoted To Stable And Upgrade Guidelines With Full Installer

UIDAI, the Unique Identification Authority of India, has issued a crucial update regarding the ECMP (Enrolment Client Multiplatform) client. With the aim of enhancing security and efficiency, UIDAI has revoked older versions and promoted ECMP version 182-3 to stable, effective from February 2, 2024. Key Points 1. Stable Release of ECMP 182-3:    - As of January 23, 2024, ECMP version 182-3 has been promoted to stable, ensuring reliability and performance. 2. Revocation of Older Versions:    - On February 2, 2024, UIDAI took the necessary step of revoking older versions of the ECMP client in production. 3. Allowed Versions Going Forward:    - From now on, only versions 3.3.4.2/182-1 (full installer available in the upload portal), 3.3.4.2/182-2, and 182-3 will be supported.
