With a view to minimize the number of unauthorized transactions happening on ATMs, State Bank of India announced the launch of OTP Based ATM Withdrawal For transactions above ₹ 10,000/- between 8 PM to 8 AM. With the introduction of its OTP Based Cash Withdrawal Facility State Bank ATMs have added another layer of security for cash withdrawals. OTP will be received on the customer’s mobile number registered with the Bank. The One-time password (OTP) is a system-generated numeric string of characters that authenticates the user for a single transaction. This additional factor of authentication will protect State Bank card holders from unauthorized ATM cash withdrawals. The OTP Based Cash Withdrawal System shall be active across all State Bank ATMs w.e.f. 01st January 2020 between 8 PM to 8 AM. As you will be aware, vide Notification GSR No. 914(E) to 922(E) dated 12/12/2019, the Govt. of India has made it mandatory, effective 12.12.2019, that 1) A POSB Account can be opened only with a minimum balance of Rs. 500. 2) The customers of the existing accounts having a balance below Rs. 500 will have to raise their balance within a year accordingly. • The Balance After Any Withdrawal Should Not Come Under Rs. 500. 3) An existing POSB account not maintaining a minimum balance of Rs. 500 will be subjected to deduction of a yearly fee of Rs. 100/-. 4) An account going into negative/zero after deducting the fee will be treated as closed. 2. CBS Data shows that 13 crore accounts (including Silent Accounts) are currently having a balance less than Rs. 500. It's critically important to send the the said letter to the insurant once revival request is approved and letter is generated. 👉 This letter clarifies the terms & condition of revival installment Insurant has to pay revival installment within the due date of payment i.e. the 1st day of the following month when first installment is paid i.e. in case first installment paid on any day of Dec-19, next installment will be due on 1st Jan-2020.
