Govt Postpones Mandatory Implementation of FASTag to DECEMBER 15 Earlier the date of implementation was on 1 December. It said it will now charge double user fee from vehicles entering FASTag lane without FASTag from December 15, instead of December 1. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in a statement said, "... to provide some more time to citizens to buy and put FASTag on their vehicles, it has now been decided that charging of double user fee from vehicles which enter FASTag lane without FASTag will start from December 15, 2019 instead of December 1, 2019." Over 70 lakh FASTags had been issued till Wednesday, with the highest per-day issuance of 1,35,583 tags on November 26, 2019, whereas 1.03 lakh tags were issued on the day before. The average daily issuance had grown by 330 per cent from 8,000 in July to 35,000 tags sold in November 2019 after the Government announced to implement it from December 1. Users of digital payments platforms will have to be extra vigilant as hundreds of Paytm customers have complained of fraud by 'Paytm employees', reports suggest. As the issue gained traction, Paytm Founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma took to Twitter to caution and assure users. He (@vijayshekhar) tweeted on November 19 cautioning users about fraudsters' attempts on their accounts. He stated that some SMS were doing the rounds with some lucky draw and asked users not to fall for it. PATCH No. 18555 DEPLOYED IN PRODUCTION   New procedure for MIS account closure by Cash Maturity amount and PMI will get credited to 0340, as per current functionality. MIS bonus amount and interest on bonus will get credited to office account 0004, instead of 0340. Office account 0004 is a parking account, Similar to MIS Sundry account. Bonus + interest amount should be withdrawan by entering the closed account number as reference number in HTM main screen and in HTM-Minor subsidy details screen. HCASHPND of maturity amount & PMI, will be allowed only after the bonus+interest amount is withdrawan. If not it will throw error as "Bonus payment is not yet done for the account. Please use HTM to do the repayment" This procedure will ensure that the bonus payout by cash is reflected correctly in teller's cash position and SOL's daily report thereon. THE DETAILS OF CHANGES ARE SHARED BELOW FOR CIRCULATING TO CBS OFFICES.   1. PAN Validation: In CCRC / CMRC, for any CIF if tax status is selected as 'PAN Available', then a valid PAN number should be entered; If no PAN card is available, the tax status is to be selected as 'No PAN available'. A new field Form 60 / 61 is introduced in CCRC / CMRC. If customer not having PAN card submits Form 60 / 61, then the value for Form 60 / 61 has to be selected as YES in CCRC / CMRC. 2. Document Deletion in CMRC: Provision to delete the documents for which details are wrongly entered during CIF creation is given in CMRC. The user has to select the check box for DELETE flag against the document in CMRC. By this change, duplicate aadhaar can be deleted through CMRC. 3. Mobile Number mandatory for CIF: During CIF creation (CCRC) / modification (CMRC), mobile number is made mandatory. 1) All types of accounts are visible in internet banking. But, MIS, SCSS, KVP, SSA accounts are not visible in mobile banking. 2) Transferring money from SB account to SSA account is not available. 3) Only TD, RD & PPF account can be opened online. But, other types of account(MIS, SCSS, NSC, KVP) cannot be opened online. 4) Only TD & RD accounts can be closed online. Other accounts(MIS, SCSS, NSC, KVP) should also be closed online. 5) Only “Stop Cheque” sevice is made available online. But, “New Cheque book request” & “New ATM card request” should also be available online. DoP internet banking services should be made in such a way that people don’t require visiting Post office for their needs.

Respected Sir/Madam, I am directed to convey the following 1. This is regarding corrections of GL Extracts in SAP Error Table . If any entry comes in any of the unmapped GL account for any facility ID or for any non-existing facility ID, then whole data for that facility ID will not be posted in CSI system and will move in Error table in CSI. This error data can be viewed using T Code ZFSI_ERROR. User with required roles will also be able to correct the Incorrect Facility ID or Unmapped GL using above T Code. The following roles needs to be assigned to the user for accessing the SAP T code ZFSI_ERROR YS:FA_CBS_PLI Once the GL or Facility Id is modified and if the entries are balanced, entire GLs of that facility id will get posted 2. All the CBS GL data received in GL extracts will be posted automatically in CSI system. User is not supposed to do any manual voucher postings for same either using Voucher Posting tool ZBF-07 or F-02. In case a user has done any manual posting

PATCH DEPLOYMENT - AGENT COMMISSION & HAFSM VALIDATIONS Dear Sir/Madam, I am directed to convey the following The following patches have been deployed in Finacle on 01/08/2019. 1. CREATION OF AGENT COMMISSION TRANSACTION during ACCOUNT VERIFICATION Issues were being faced in deleting or reversing Agent commission and TDS in case of cancellation of new account which were opened through agents. Agent commission+TDS transactions were getting created along with the funding transaction during opening of RD/MIS/TD/NSC/KVP accounts. These transactions were system-generated transactions and could not be deleted in the case of cancellation of account-opening. Workaround Solutions were being provided by the team for reversing the agent commission and TDS . This issue has been fixed in Finacle. This functionality has been modified and patch was deployed on 01/08/2019. Henceforth, agent commission+TDS transactions will get created only if the account is verified. Account opening op

Dear Sir, Any transactions done outside finacle will not be extracted in GL. These certificates have come for closure and we cannot migrate it immediately also. Hence it has to be closed manually with necessary error book entries and approval of competent authority. POs should not use this an opportunity to do manual voucher posting . Further there is a T CODE  in CSI : ZFSI_DOC_LOG which will list all manual voucher posting for CBS transactions. As part of vigilance these reports should be checked. DMCC CBS Instructions 17.10.2019 : After GL Integration Roll-out Few Circles Have Reported That Customer Account Credit Leg Is Reflected In ACCOUNT SOL Instead of BranchOffice.

Respected Sir/Madam, I am directed to convey the following Few circles have reported that Customer account credit leg is reflected in ACCOUNT SOL instead of BranchOffice. This is due to the below said scenario Ownership in Finacle for few accounts are as EMPLOYEE instead of CUSTOMER in CIF level. Hence transactions done in these accounts will get reflected in account office instead of BO. Fix is to be provided shortly for this issue. Post deployment of this fix, this issue will be resolved. Example : One RD Deposit 4436108941 which has ownership as EMPLOYEE (Go to HACLI - Enter CIF and select OWNERSHIP as EMPLOYEE to list this account) is reflecting in SOL 52431401 AND NOT in its BO E8335.  This has resulted in unbalanced entry in both these facility ids. Circle need to post CBS transactions based GL DAILY TRANSACTION SUMMARY report through manual voucher posting. Dear Sir/madam, In addition to the below scenarios, it is also observed that POs are using CNSBCV menu for CASH CLOSURES. Please refer our earlier mails sent during deployment of CNSBCV MENU. It was clearly mentioned that this menu is to be used for BULK CLOSURE only. Closure proceeds can be credited only to POSB account or Postmaster Cheque account (0340). POs are using this menu for closures below Rs20000/- and are giving cash and expecting these entries in HCASHPND. Closures done through CNSBCV will not get reflected in HCASHPND and hence this will not affect POS CASH. Hence it is requested to instruct POs to use CNSBCV menu only for BULK CLOSURE through POSTMASTER CHQUE or POSB account.
