Digital Seva App: Empowering Citizens with Convenient Access to Government Services

The Digital Seva App is a mobile application designed for Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) to provide various e-governance and business services to users. It is a replica of the Digital Seva Portal, but specifically optimized for mobile users, allowing them to access services anytime and anywhere. The app requires VLEs to log in using their CSC ID (Common Service Centre ID).


Here are some key features and services provided by the Digital Seva App:


1. Central and State Government Schemes: 

The app brings together various schemes from different departments of both central and state governments onto a single platform. This makes it easier for citizens to access and avail themselves of these services.


2. Education Services: 

The app offers certification courses through partnerships with organizations like AWS Educate, Tally Education, C-DAC, and CSC Academy. Users can enhance their skills and gain knowledge through these courses.


3. Mobile Recharge: 

The app provides mobile recharge and bill payment options for major telecom service providers such as Vodafone, Airtel, Idea, BSNL, and more.


4. Utility Bill Payments: 

Users can conveniently pay their electricity, gas, and water bills for different state billers through the app. It offers a centralized platform for managing these payments.


5. Bill Payments via BBPS Platform: 

The app supports bill payments through the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) platform. This includes mobile postpaid, landline postpaid, broadband postpaid, electricity, gas, water, and DTH recharge.


6. Ticket Booking: 

Users can book tickets for trains, flights, buses, and hotels directly through the app. This provides a convenient platform for making travel arrangements.


7. Insurance Premium Payment: 

The app allows users to pay insurance premiums for various insurance products like health, third-party motor, agriculture, and more. It supports major insurance companies such as HDFC Ergo, Future Generali, National General Insurance, and others.

The Digital Seva App version being 2.3, released on July 13, 2020. It requires Android 5.1 and up to run.  it is available for Android devices.
