SOP In Connection With Proposed SAP Downtime From 14.05.2021 to 16.05.2021

Regarding SAP downtime from 14th to 16th,  an SOP containing the functionalities possible,  is attached herewith for information. Request all to bring this to the notice of all concerned.

1.) PoS and Back Office:

Below functionalities will be available as usual:

1. All Mail Booking (Domestic & International) except BNPL/Advance Customer Bookings

2. CBS Transactions. 

3. McCamish Transactions

4. eMO /NPS Booking 

5. ePayment/Bill collections 

6. Back Office operations like Cash Transfers, Bagging and Dispatch.

Note:     i)    Franking Machine and PDA Recharge not possible.

ii)   All Transactions shall be updated to SAP with actual transaction 

date and time once SAP is restored.I

2.) IPVS : 

No BCP available. The articles are to be processed manually.S

3.) SAPDPMS : 

In order to bring the delivery activity into system, following process be followed:

1. All accountable articles (except COD/VP/eMOs) may be delivered manually. 

2. Three excel files (Article ID) to be maintained containing below information:  

• Articles received in DPMS till previous day and delivered during the period of downtime.

• Articles received during the period of downtime and delivered during the period of downtime. 

• Articles that are to be kept on Hold 

3. Once SAP is restored, ZMOEXCELUPLOAD Tcode will be enabled to upload all the three excel files. 

4. The articles which are not already received in DPMS (physically received during downtime period) should be received first through normal DPMS operation, before uploading the concerned excel file

4.) PMA :

The articles can be delivered through PMA in the usual manner. All MIS/Tracking etc will be available.

5.) HRMS, F&A :

The activities be done once SAP is restored.

6.) RICT Booking and Delivery : 

All CSI/CBS/McCamish transactions through RICT devices can be done as usual
