Finally.... 4G Dongle For DARPAN (RICT) Devices

Department has released SOP for procurement, installation and operation of 4G dongle on DARPAN device.

In first phase BOs having Airtel connectivity will be replaced with 4G dongles as Airtel has already stopped 3G connectivity.

3G connections of all other network providers(BSNL, Vodafone, Idea ) will be replaced subsequently. SOP and specification of dongle is given below.

UIDAI, the Unique Identification Authority of India, has issued a crucial update regarding the ECMP (Enrolment Client Multiplatform) client. With the aim of enhancing security and efficiency, UIDAI has revoked older versions and promoted ECMP version 182-3 to stable, effective from February 2, 2024. Key Points 1. Stable Release of ECMP 182-3:    - As of January 23, 2024, ECMP version 182-3 has been promoted to stable, ensuring reliability and performance. 2. Revocation of Older Versions:    - On February 2, 2024, UIDAI took the necessary step of revoking older versions of the ECMP client in production. 3. Allowed Versions Going Forward:    - From now on, only versions 3.3.4.2/182-1 (full installer available in the upload portal), 3.3.4.2/182-2, and 182-3 will be supported.
