Instructions For EOY 2019-20 || To Post Offices & CPC

Dear CPC Teams,

Please find attached instructions on EOY 2020 circulated by FS Division, Directorate. In continuation of Directorate instructions, please circulate following points to all Post Offices for strict compliance to help us in ensuring timely completion of End Of Year (EOY) activities.

INSTRUCTIONS TO POST OFFICES :

1. All the Post offices should complete day-to-day activities including generation of reports, and submit HISCOD by 1800 hrs on 31-03-2020. Post offices should plan their operational activities well in advance for completing activities within the mentioned timelines. Head Post Offices designated for clearing operations will submit HISCOD only on completion of all transactions and closure of all clearing zones.

2. After submission of HISCOD on 31.03.2020, User IDs and transaction menus will be disabled for PO users. After HISCOD submission is done at a SOL, users of that SOL will not be able to do any further transactions till completion of EOY activities; once the user logs out after HISCOD, user will be disabled and can login only after EOY completion. Hence, ensure that all activities including generation of Reports are completed before submission of HISCOD. As a precautionary measure, HISCOD will be disabled on 30.03.2020 night(after completion of DC Closure) and will be enabled on 31.03.2020 at 12 noon.

3. As per the approval of Directorate FS Division, 01/04/2020 & 02/04/2020 will be no transaction days, the customers will be able to withdraw interest (SCS / MIS /TD accounts) on 03/04/2020 only. Salary & Pension uploads in HRMS for POSB lnterface will be processed in CBS after completion of EOD for 31st March 2020 which is expected to be completed by 02/04/2020( afternoon). CBS GL Reports in Finacle will be available to users post completion of EOY activities (02/04/2020) only and Daily Reports in CSI will be available on 03/04/2020

4. EB / MB / RICT / IPPB transactions will be stopped after DC date changes to 01/04/2020 for preventing channel transactions during the execution of interest posting batches.

INSTRUCTION TO CPC :

1. All CPC's should co-ordinate with Post offices having blocking validations and ensure timely completion of HISCOD of all PO's under their jurisdiction on 31-03-2020.

2. HSCOD will be executed centrally by CEPT team. CPC teams should be available till completion of HSCOD of 31-03-2020 of all the SOLs in their circle. Hence necessary arrangements may be planned accordingly.
