ECMP-OTA Client Ver. 3.3.4.2.73 Released || Aadhaar Version Update

Dear Sir / Madam,

We have released ECMP-OTA Client v3.3.4.2.73 (Windows/Linux) to all ecosystem partners.

 Major Changes/Enhancements/Bug Fixes:


 ·         Non-Resident Indians (NRI) can Update their demographics, biometrics, Mobile number and Email
·         The NRI residents can provide their International mobile number along with ISD code
·         Distribution of Master-Data (Pincode database) / Registrar Docs through OTA. Only the delta from the files will be downloaded through the OTA instead of 100 MB each time. The Registrar Documents which are required as part of PoA, PoI and PoB will be distributed through OTA
·         Scan appointment id slip and populate demographic data in ECMP OTA client. Currently, the appointment data is scanned and stored as pdf file. The  documents are attached to populate the demographic data
·         The Reject-Reason-Code and Reject Description will be displayed in the ECMP client for each “Rejected” enrolment
·         Support for capturing both Operator and Resident biometrics during FindAadhaar request. Removed “On Behalf of” feature from FindAadhaar
·         Removed Windows username and password from ECA/ECMP. The UID will be used as the password for login in ECA/ECMP
·         The Whitelisted and Non-Whitelisted station can be controlled in Server/DB (Permissions and Settings)
·         “Blacklist” word which is used for Operator and Machine is replaced with “Suspension”
·         Passport is the only PoI document allowed in case of NRI doing New or Update enrolment

UIDAI ECMP Client Version Revocation, Version 182-3 Promoted To Stable And Upgrade Guidelines With Full Installer

UIDAI, the Unique Identification Authority of India, has issued a crucial update regarding the ECMP (Enrolment Client Multiplatform) client. With the aim of enhancing security and efficiency, UIDAI has revoked older versions and promoted ECMP version 182-3 to stable, effective from February 2, 2024. Key Points 1. Stable Release of ECMP 182-3:    - As of January 23, 2024, ECMP version 182-3 has been promoted to stable, ensuring reliability and performance. 2. Revocation of Older Versions:    - On February 2, 2024, UIDAI took the necessary step of revoking older versions of the ECMP client in production. 3. Allowed Versions Going Forward:    - From now on, only versions 3.3.4.2/182-1 (full installer available in the upload portal), 3.3.4.2/182-2, and 182-3 will be supported.
