This release primarily is due to the introduction of the new services, and partly to respond with the bugs reported in various modules, To realize the full benefits all the post offices should migrate to this new release in Toto. Particularly they should not attempt to upgrade only few modules leaving behind others. This release will have impact on the following modules of Meghdoot: 1) Point of Sale 2) Postman 3) e-Payment 4) Treasury 5) AccountsMIS 6) Schedule Ensure that transactions for the day are complete. Please take backup of all databases and mdb files before proceeding further. Please do not drop any database. Agents Register is the Software to calculate and produce the report of the transaction done by  MPKBY/SAS Agents which are linked to HO's or SO's. The Reports produced in the software are 1. IT/SC Report - Both Daily and Monthly 2. Commission Report - Both Daily and Monthly       ( There is a provision to select the Certificates/Issues as per the requirement. ) Important DB Creation should be done only once. The Package consists of two setup files AgentsServer and Agents Client. DB Creation is to be installed in SQL Server Machine Only, the required databases will be created automatically. Your Office name with Code should be given. AgentsClient is to be installed in Client Machines, Path, Office name, SQL Server Name,User ID, Password should be given correctly. OFFICE NAME given for initial configuration for software should be same as OFFICE NAME  given while making database. If any problem occurs while installation due to errounous entry reinstall

1.) The rotational transfer orders for the year 2011-12 are to be issued this year as usual. The staff members who will complete their prescribed tenure by 30/09/2011 will be transferred without fail. 2.) All concerned may therefore submit their request for transfer to the place of their choice. They should specifically mention as to whether they are willing to be transferred at their choice station at their own request & cost. 3. )  Application for transfer made earlier by any officials may be applied  afresh. There is no guarantee of transfer as per one’s choice station/office. The officials who have not completed   tenure are also  liable to be   transferred keeping in view ability & efficiencies for computerised post offices and as per administrative need & exigencies. 4.) In our division both HOs and 29 SOs are already computerised and 6 IInd class SO is likely to be computerised shortly and therefore very insignificant manual work remains in all offices.
