GOOD NEWS !!!   Online dashboard is now available in RSI MDM portal  to generate the multiple reports. All the user of RSI system will be able to access the Online Dashboard Portal in both intranet  (SIFY) & internet and can generate the report by providing the required criteria. Report data can be viewed over the web portal and can also be downloaded as excel report. SOP on Online Dash board is attached  for ready reference.         Further all existing functionalities  currently available in RSI MDM portal  on  intranet is now available on  internet also  along with Online  Dash board  on below new URL. This is to inform you that due to the detection of a Corona positive case in the National ATM Unit office in Bengaluru GPO, the unit has been shut down on the instructions of the  National ATM Unit Head.  All the staff have been asked to proceed on quarantine for 7 days. IPPB is talks with multiple government departments and other institutions of repute where there has been a requirement to track the account opening.  IPPB has already received mandates for onboarding beneficiaries of various schemes. To cater to the need of tracking of the account opening specific to mandates, IPPB has come up with the customization in the account opening process. The End User(EU) shall have the option to open all the accounts either in the normal route or by tagging the accounts with specific mandates.  The basic solutions which the mandate account opening provides are : 1. It will provide the option to tag an account for single or multiple DBT/Campaign scheme code for which the account has been opened. 2. Few would consider the job of a postman hazardous, that is until they hear the story of D. Sivan, a postman in Tamil Nadu. Sivan held his job for almost 30 years and retired last week. His job description included trekking through the dense forests of Coonoor to take post to remote parts of Singara and Marapallam.  The postman used the Nilgiri Mountain Railway track, across slippery slopes and tunnels to deliver envelopes containing messages of love, loss, and sometimes, even precious pension money, according to reports. Over the years, as he edged closer to retirement, the number of letters Sivan delivered became fewer and fewer, migration and internet connectivity being the innocuous culprits for this change.  Over the years, the gentleman had been chased by elephants and boars, crossed streams and rivers, to ensure that the plantation workers living in Singara Estate received their post timely.  It is reported that Sivan made a modest amount of Rs. 12,000 for his service

Migration of International Money Transfer Service (IMTS) from DoP to India Post Payments Bank.          IPPB is in process of launching "IMTS" in collaboration with Western Union Financial Services and the current agreement of DoP with WUMT is expiry on 17th July 2020.        In this regard, IPPB has planned to visit Access Points for gathering data and facilitating the launch including training, branding, collateral, preparation of the respective staff, the incentive structure communication etc.       In this context, PIB division has been directed to request all circles to kindly provide all necessary requirement / assistance to IPPB team during their visit.

A defect has come to notice in DARPAN PLI APP w.r.t. the acceptance of PLI / RPLI initial premium through RICT devices, which has lead to either acceptance of less or more premium against new proposals and which has further lead to non-updation of paid to date in CIS. Because of this issue, Insurant are unable to pay the subsequent premiums.   2.            The issue has been analysed and a new version of DARPAN PLI App with the defect fix will be pushed to RICT devices in the coming week. 3.            In the light of the above, I have been directed to request you to direct all the BPMs / officials of your circle to not to accept the initial premium through RICT devices with immediate effect till next version of the APP  is pushed to devices. The plan for pushing of new version of the APP will be shared by CEPT with all the Circles soon. This issues with the approval of CGM (PLI).
