Now, in PLI/RPLI Premium, Loan Repayment, Loan Payment and Other Than Loan data entry form in Schedule module, user will be shown only those policy numbers which are available with NIC. Only matched policy numbers will be shown in the combo box. For the non matched policy number, user will have to type in the number and just click on search button, it will display the number and from there user will have to select the correct policy number. The last column, Is Available with NIC, in the list view at the bottom, is showing the status of the policy. I.e whether it is matched policy or unmatched policy. HIKE IN DEARNESS ALLOWANCE WILL BE 6% FROM JAN-2011 TO ALL CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES The Union Cabinet committee headed by Prime Minister today decided to increase the Dearness Allowance by 6% to Central Government employees. Hike in the Dearness Allowance (DA) will be from 45% to 51% w.e.f.January 2011. Release of additional installment of dearness allowance for this year to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief to Pensioners from Jan-2011 is to compensate the price hike of essential commodities. The revised rates of Dearness Allowance from 1.1.2011 to 28.2.2011 may be paid in cash as arrears and for the month of March may be disbursed with the salary. The enhancement of Dearness Allowance is in accordance with the accepted formula, which is based on the recommendations of the 6th Central Pay Commission. Central Cabinet Committee likely to release of additional installment of 6% Dearness Allowance to Central Government Employees and Dearness Relief to Central Government Pensioners due from 01-01-2011. The Present Dearness Allowance Rate is 45%  and it will change into 51%. Once DA crosses 50%, some allowances and advances is to be revised 25% more from the existing rates. Whatever the price of onion is, the D.A will not be as sweet as July last year. As per the All India Index published by Labour Bureau, Govt. of India the Dearness Allowance payable to the Central Govt.staff with effect from January 2011 may not be more than 6 percent.
