Revised Postage Rates for International Parcels, EMS

Effective from 1st June 2023

The Indian government has announced revised postage rates for international parcels, EMS (Express Mail Service), that will come into effect from 1st June 2023. The following amendments have been made to the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933:

1. Short titles and commencement: 

 

The rules are officially titled as the Indian Post Office (2nd Amendment) Rules, 2023, and they will come into force on 1st June 2023.

2. Schedule Amendments: 

 

The revisions affect Schedule-I, Schedule-II, and Schedule-III of the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933. The previous content of these schedules has been substituted with the new rates and regulations.
