Which ECMP Windows Version Will No Longer Supported In 2022 & What To Do Upgrade Stable Update || UIDAI RO-Mumbai
Dear Registrars,
As per the UIDAI Notification from Tech Support regarding the UIDAI Notification:
ECMP windows older version revocation.
UIDAI Tech Support planning to revoke following ECMP client version in Production tomorrow.
This is applicable only for following
ECMP Windows Versions:
3.3.4.2-127, 126, 125, 120, 103, 102, 101
Kindly follow below steps, if ECMP client version is not upgraded to 129-3.
Step 1:- Take backup of packet-auto folder from the below location (even if all packets are uploaded to server, it is still recommended to do this step)
C:\UID Authority of India\Aadhaar Enrolment Client\data
Step 2:- Please perform the complete deregistration of the above ECMP client when the system is connected & online
Step 3:- Uninstall the above version of ECMP client (please start Step 3 only after completion of Step 1 and 2)
Step 4:- Please download full installer of the ECMP client v3.3.4.2/129-3 from the Upload Portal
Step 5:- Install the new version of the ECMP client (it might later auto-upgrade to 129-4 or 129-5)
Step 6:- Perform two-step registration again.
Step 7:- Paste the packet-auto folder again at the below location
C:\UID Authority of India\Aadhaar Enrolment Client\data
Note: As per the directive from UIDAI-HQ. All the above older versions of ECMP Windows will be revoked and will no longer be supported in 2022.
