The list of major changes/updations incorporated in SpeedNet 4.5 are as follows:
a)
Rationalisation of Discount Structure for
Speed Post, Express Parcel and Business and revision of Operational Guidelines
(Ref: BD&M Dte lr.no. 10-23/2013-BD&M dated 24.01.2017)
b) BO
Returns modification (Ref: eMail dated 24.10.2016 from MB Division,
Directorate)
(i)
Removal of auto-population of date at the time of returns along with
capturing of reasons for delay in updating BO returns with a delay of more than
2 days.
(ii) Pop-up for BO articles
pending for more than 2 days.
c) Segregating
the delivery performance of BOs from the overall delivery performance of Account
SO/HO (Ref: Directorate lr.no. 16-01/2016-D dated 08.11.2016)
d) Bugs
resolution:
(i)
Capturing correct delivery office code in
r/o SP articles for which delivery information is updated using the option –
‘Articles of Other Offices’ in Speednet
(ii)
Displaying correct office information in
SP Mail list for FML.
e) Capturing
additional scan information for eCommerce Articles viz., Article Out for
Delivery, Articles for which electronic data is not received, etc (Ref:
14-01/2015-BD&M Dte dated 09.01.2017)
f) Provision
for use of Dynamic Barcodes for SP-COD articles (Ref: MB Division lr.no.
30-35/2015-D (Pt I) dated 11.08.2016)
g) Introduction
of new remark – ‘Left Address’ for Speed Post articles (Ref: PO Division lr.no.
27-46/2015-PO (Pt.II) dated 09.01.2017)
h) Provision
for accepting new barcode series for APS DAPL service
i)
International EMS Service with Finland
Post (IR&GB Dvn., Dte lr.no. 40-4/2016-DA dated 31.01.2017)
