PLI & RPLI WEB BASED PROGRAM SMOOTH WORKING INSTRUCTIONS.


INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE THE CONNECTIVITY
FOR PDF PRINTING OF OUTPUT IN 
PLI & RPLI WEB BASED SOFTWARE

* First run Window Update to apply latest patches.
* Install Adobe reader 6.0  i.e PDF reader Click Here To Download



MODIFICATION IN PROPERTIES OF INTERNET IS REQUIRED AS FOLLOWS:

1.         Go to Desktop and Right click on ‘Internet’ icon.
2.         Click on ‘Properties’
3.         Click on ‘Security’ Tab
4.         Select ‘Internet’ option
5.         Click on ‘custom level’ option
6.         Security settings will open.  Make all the options ‘enable’
7.         Reset custom settings as ‘Low’ or ‘Medium-Low’ and click on ‘OK’
8.         Select ‘intranet’ option
9.         Repeat the action as specified from serial 5 to serial 7.
10.       Open internet and click on Tools option.
11.       Against internet options, against ‘pop blocker’ options, Turn on ‘Pop  up Blocker’.
12.       In Oracle Application Window, Please allow Pop Up Blocker.

Now PDF will open and ready for printing.

FOR WINDOWS XP OPERATING SYSTEM:

  • XP Professional with Service Pack 2 is to be properly loaded before hand.


FOR VISTA OPERATING SYSTEM FOLLOW BELOW STEPS :

  • DOWNLOAD & INSTALL OPERA BROWSER FOR VISTA OS TO DOWLOAD SETUP CLICK HERE
  • DOWLOAD & INSTAL JVM TO DOWNLOAD SETUP CLICK HERE
  • Installing_Oracle_JInitiator_for_WindowsVista TO VIEW THE PDF CLICK HERE


Basics for PLI & RPLI WEB BASED PROGRAME


1.)    PLI & RPLI software needs WAN connection
2.)    Adobe Reader is must to view reports
3.)    Popup blocker should be turned off.
IE > Tools > Popup Blocker > Turn Off Popup Blocker
4.)    Choose low level security or enable all Java Scripts etc. 
5.)    IE > Internet Options > Security >
6.)    Open indiapostpli.gov.in > RPLI login link or http://10.1.96.41:7778/forms/frmservlet?config=rpli directly
this would prompt to install ActiveX control Oracle initiator for the first time
Install the Control. The Login screen will come. That’s all.
7.)    If you have problem even after the above steps

Ping your default gateway IP that is your router IP.
Check your modem, Line lights are ON or not.

Ping 10.1.0.17 > NIC Server IP

ping 10.1.96.42 > RPLI SERVER IP

If you have problem in NIC or RPLI Server IP wait for some time it may be correct automatically or contact your local NIC.
